Question
Should I recite Thanaa if I join the Salaah while the Imaam is in Rukoo?
Answer
If one begins his Salah whilst the Imam is in Ruku whether it’s a Sirri or Jahri Salah, then the recitation of Thana will depend on his judgement of getting Ruku, meaning if he is confident of getting Ruku together with reciting Thana then only will he recite the Thana, otherwise he will leave out Thana and go directly into Ruku.
