What is the significant of 786 numbers? As we see generally people use this number either suffix or prefix in their mobile no or car no.
Does this lead to any benefit or it is just a myth?
Answer
The number 786 is used to symbolize Bism Allah ar-Rahman ar-Rahim in numerical terms according to a scale used by the Muslims that attaches numerical value to each letter of the Arabic alphabet. The Quraan-e-Majeed, Hadeeth and books of jurisprudence have not mentioned anything regarding the number 786.
These are but a few numbers which can be formed again by rearranging the letters of the scale. Muslims generally use this number at the beginning of their correspondence to avoid having the name of Allah or the complete Bism Allah ar-Rahman ar-Rahim being desecrated and disrespected when such correspondence is discarded.
The name of Allah and the entire Bism Allah ar-Rahman ar-Rahimm is unique in its own sense and has blessings that numbers will never have. Therefore, any special significance or importance such as it being an established Sunnah, etc,should not be attached to it.
