A Tailor Not Following Instructions

Question

If a tailor doesn’t do the work according to the instructions given to him, do i have to pay him?  If I had already paid him, and then I come to know that the work wasn’t done properly can i take back the money? Can I claim the cost of the material I had given to the tailor from the tailor?

Answer

If a tailor doesn’t do the work according to the instructions given to him, then the owner of the material will not have to pay him anything for the labour. In this case, the owner of the fabric will have the option of leaving the fabric with the tailor and claiming the market-related cost of the fabric from him.
