If a lady applies mehndi as an occupation, will it be permissible for her to apply on non-Muslim woman for Diwali?

Answer

The lady applying Mehndi offers a service to the public where she applies Mehndi for clients and charges a fee in return. She should simply offer this service to all (Muslim and Non-Muslim clients) without posing any unnecessary questions to them, such as enquiring if there is a particular event or occasion (such as diwali, etc) taking place. By doing so, her business will in order and permissible.
