Can a person change his Zakaat calculation date?
Answer
Every person’s Zakaat date is set from the time he became the owner of the amount of Nisaab.
For example, if one becomes the owner of Nisaab on the first of Muharram, that will be regarded as his Zakaat date, and every year he will be required to pay his Zakaat on the first of Muharram. Once this date has been set, it should not be altered. Therefore, it will impermissible for one to voluntarily change his Zakaat date.

جواب: جیسا کہ پہلے بتایا تھا کہ ہر شخص کی تاریخ وہ ہے جب پہلی بار صاحب نصاب بنا، لیکن جب ایک تاریخ بن گئی تو پھر آئندہ اس کو وہی تاریخ رکھنی چاہئے ، اس کو بدلنا درست نہیں۔
