Question
What is the ruling with regard to reciting Ganjul Arsh, is it authentic?
Answer
We have not come across any authentic virtues for reciting Du’a Ganjul Arsh.
It is permissible to recite Dua’ Ganjul Arsh, provided one does not believe it to be a Sunnah. However, the ideal and most effective will be to suffice on the following:
1. The Duas that were taught to us by Sayyiduna Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam), they are simple yet extremely effective.
2. Making Dua’ in your own language, from the depth of your heart; expressing your feelings and needs in front of Allah Ta’ala, in your own words.
