Question
When entering the Masjid there are Masnoon Duas to be recited. Are we also required to recite these Duas when entering a Musalla? Do the rules that apply to a Masjid apply to a Musalla?
Answer
All the rules (Ahkaam & Masaa’il) that apply to a Masjid do not apply to a Musalla. However, as reciting Masnoon Du’as when entering a Masjid pertains to Fadhaa-il, one may and should recite these Masnoon Du’aas when entering a Musalla.
