What is the ruling on khula?
Answer
Khula is a contract between the spouses wherein the wife compensates the husband to come out of the wedlock and to dissolve the marriage. Just as any other contract, this comes into play with a proposal and acceptance. This constitutes one Talaq Ba’in (irrevocable divorce).
