Kissing The Fingers And Placing Them On The Eyes Upon Hearing The Name Of Nabee Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam

Question

Some people kiss the fingers upon hearing the name of Nabee Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam name during Azaan and Iqamah.

I would like to know whether any reference of this kind of practice during the time of Nabee Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam and Sahaba Radiallu Anhum?

Answer

With regard to the narrations that indicate kissing the fingers and placing them on the eyes when hearing the blessed name of Rasulullah Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam, these are fabricated. It is not permissible to act upon a fabricated narration.
