Question
If a woman wants to do a lash lift for personal reasons and for to beautify herself for her husband, would it be permissible?
From what I have researched there are certain types that state it is water soluble.
Answer
It will be permissible to have a lash lift done as long as it is done only for your husband. The product applied to one’s eye lashes should also not contain any harmful chemicals or Haraam ingredients and should allow water to reach the hair for the purpose of Wudhu and/or Ghusal. In other words, it should be “water permeable”.
