Question
Some people they bring their small children and keep with them in a row. Is ita allowed to keep children in a row, it becomes like mix row some small children next to the adults?
Answer
If the Sufuf (Saffs) are filled with adults, in other words there are adequate adults to fill the Saff then it is Makrooh and contrary to Sunnah to allow the Na-Baaligh children to stand in the same Saff as the adults. Yes, if the Saff remains incomplete due to not having an adequate number of adult Musallis and there is a single youngster standing alone in the children’s Saff then he may be included in the adults Saff.
However, if there are many Na-baaligh youngsters present for the Jamaat Salaah then they should be made to stand in an individual Saff behind the adults, and should not be included with the adults.
