Question
Is it permissible to wear a red shirt with some stripes and a fitted jeans?
Answer
It is permissible for males to wear red clothing that has other colour stripes on it, only that clothing which is totally red will be impermissible to wear.
It will not be permissible to wear fitted jeans if it is such that it shows the shape of the body, including parts of the Satr i.e. one’s thighs. However, if it is such that it does not reveal the shape of one’s Satr then it will be permissible to wear.
One should however keep this in mind that it is impermissible for one to wear such clothing which is generally worn by the Fussaaq (sinful people) one should instead rather adopt the clothing of the pious.
