Nikaah Dates Of Nabee Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam

Question

Please can you give me days dates months years and what time in the day or night the blessed prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam got married?

Answer

In the early days of Islam, there was no official registration of years, months, dates, days and the times of birth etc. It was not common at that era to keep track of the array of events that we keep track of today. So, this is the same with regards to the Nikah of the blessed prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam, therefore the years, months, dates, days and the time of marriage cannot be stated with certainty. However, we do find the following records in the books of history.Nikah of Khadijah bint Khuwaylid Nabi Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam married Khadijah Radiallahu Anha two and half months on returning from his journey from Syria after the month of SafarNikah of Sawda bint Zam’a Nabi Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam married Sawda Radiallahu Anha in Ramadan in the tenth year after his Prophethood.
