Question
Is it permissible to perform Qurbaani on behalf of another person without taking permission from him/her?
Answer
No, it is not permissible to perform Qurbaani on behalf of another person, unless permission is first taken from him/her. If the Qurbaani is done on behalf of another person without his/her permission, by way of including for him/her a share in a big animal (cattle, camels), then the Qurbaani of all the shareholders will be rendered invalid.
