Question
A Munfarid is performing Maghrib silently. He is joined by another person during the Qiyam of the second Raka`ah. Is the Munfarid obliged to recite aloud or not?
Answer
In this case, the Munfarid will be obliged to recite aloud.

و فى الخلاصة عن الأصل رجل يصلى وحده فجاء رجل و اقتدى به بعد ما قرأ الفاتحة أو بعضها يقرأ الفاتحة ثانيا و يجهر إه يعنى إذا كانت الصلاة جهرية و لم يجهر و وجهه أن الجهر فيما بقى صار واجبا بالإقتداء و الجمع و المخافتة فى ركعة واحدة شنيع
