Qurbani After Performing Eid Salaah At Home

If Eid salaah is performed at home due to the lockdown, can one slaughter immediately after the Eid salaah is performed at one’s residence, or do the people have to wait for the salaah to be performed at the Masjid?

If the Eid Salaah is performed only in the homes, slaughtering may commence immediately thereafter under the lockdown situation. However, if Eid Salaah is taking place in the Masaajid as well as in some homes, then we advise that those performing their Eid Salaah at home should wait until the Eid Salaah of at least one Masjid in the locality is over; because the texts of the Fuqahaa specifically mention that the people of a Masjid (any Masjid) must complete their Salaah before one can make Qurbani.
