Reciting Thanaa After The Imaam Commenced A Jahri (Loud) Salaah

If the Muqtadi joins the Imam in such a Fardh Salah wherein the Qiraat is recited loudly, whilst the Imam has already commenced Qira’ah, then he will not recite the Thana, as the listening of the Qira’ah is Wajib. Some jurists are of the opinion that he will recite the Thana in between the stops of the Imam in Fatiha, but this is not the preferred view.
