Question
A lady wants to know that doctors have told her that all her internal organs are swelling and she is a walking time bomb who can go into cardiac arrest any time.
If she go into cardiac arrest, they can revive her with an injection, but possibilities are that she might be a vegetable after that.
She has told family and doctors not to review her if she goes into cardiac arrest.
Will this be permissible?
Answer
Yes, it is permissible for her to refuse medical treatment, as accepting treatment is a Sunnah and not obligatory in Shariah.
