Question
When we are told to cut the pubic hair under the navel, does it mean we cut from the navel right down or what is the way and how much should be cut?
Answer
The hair below the navel should be all removed, whether on the right, left, on the testicles, etc. This should be done weekly, fortnightly, or at least every forty days. If the hair is not removed within a forty day period then one has will be guilty of perpetrating an act that is Makrooh-e-Tahreemi (extremely abhorrent and close to Haraam).
