I would like to know regarding the sale of hair pieces which are synthetic. Is it permissible to sell it, as I was informed that it is haraam ?
Sale Of Synthetic Hair
Question
Answer
The sale of hair extensions that are made of synthetic material or from the hair of animals such as camels goats etc. would be fundamentally permissible to sell. Yes, hair pieces made from human hair would be totally prohibited to sell.
A word of advice however, is that in spite of the fact that it is not Haraam to sell synthetic hair pieces, it would still be preferable not to sell these hair extensions; hence we will not encourage its sale.
