Taking An Animal With For Hajj-e-Qiraan

Question

If I intend to perform Hajj e Qiran the necessity of bringing one’s own animal for sacrifice is not possible given that sheep won’t fit in my suitcase or likely event they clear customs. I read that for the performance of Hajj e Qiran one should bring his own animal? How does this impact on this Hajj being like that of Nabi Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam?

Answer

If a person intends to perform Hajj-e-Qiraan it is necessary for him to sacrifice an animal in the Haram during the days of Qurbani. Although it is preferable to bring ones’ own animal for the purpose of Dam-e-Shukr, doing so is not necessary. Purchasing an animal in the Haram and sacrificing it there will suffice.
