A husband gives talaaq while his wife is on menses, in anger, and because of lies made up against wife.
Is the Talaaq vaild?
Answer
If a husband gives talaaq while the wife is on her menses, Talaaq will fall and the wife will have to sit in Iddat. The Iddat will be counted as three menses excluding the menses that she was given Talaaq in. i.e. she will have to wait for that menstruation in which the talaaq was given to finish then start counting her iddat. Hence, she will have to sit through three full menstrual cycles excluding the one she was given talaaq in.
