Question
Sometimes Islamic books have a whole page only if Quraanic Ayaahs, will it be permissible to touch this page without Wudhu?
Answer
If verses of the Qur’aan Sharif form a minor portion of the book then it will be permissible to touch the book without Wudhu. As for the page containing Quranic verses, it will be permissible to touch only that portion of the page that does not contain the verses of the Qur’aan Sharif, such as the margins, blank portions, etc.. However, it will only be permissible to touch the actual Qur’aanic text written thereon if one is in a state of Wudhu, otherwise not.
