Question
Are women allowed to wear high heels?
Answer
High-heeled shoes are impermissible for few reasons, some of which are;
1- Emulation with the Fussaaq (open-sinners) and immodest woman.
2- Deception i.e. To make oneself look taller.
3- A loud sound is made with each footstep, thereby drawing the attention of Men. And Allah Taala says:
And they (women) should not stamp their feet so as to reveal what they hide of their adornment.
