Question
A child urinated on the masjid carpet. What should be done to purify it?
Answer
The Masjid carpet should be washed three times. After each washing the water must be left to dry up. In other words the carpet should be washed and left to dry, then washed and left to dry for the second time, and the same procedure should be followed for the third time. By doing so, the carpet will be cleansed.
