When does a written Talaaq fall?
Answer
A valid written Talaq will take place immediately after it is transcribed, unless the issuer makes the Talaaq conditional the Talaaq with words like “When/If this letter reaches you…” or “When you read this…”, in which case the Talaq will only take place upon the fulfillment of that condition.
