Where To Tie The Ihraam From

If someone is flying from UK for the Hajj. His flight is from UK to Cairo and then Jeddah. Which place during his journey, will he wear his Ihraam for the Hajj?

Its a transit flight – UK to Jeddah (For Hajj) via Cairo (Eqypt). Not sure at which place, we have to wear the Ihraam for Hajj. Its a long flight, so wearing from UK will be a struggle, but if its must, then we have to wear it.

The Meeqaat (Boundary) for Hujjaaj traveling from the west and north west of Makkah Mukarramah, (Such as Lebanon, Syria, Palestine, Jordan, Egypt, people traveling from North America, Europe, Turkey, Sudan and various other African countries) is Juhfah.

Therefore in this case you are bound to wear Ihraam before Jeddah airport. This can be done at the Cairo airport or in the flight approximately 40 minutes before reaching Jeddah. It will be more convenient to do so in Cairo as in some flights one might not find enough space and privacy to change.
