Question
Our company does deliveries. Can our non-Muslim drivers do deliveries while we gone for Jummah Salaah. They only deliver no money is collected.
Answer
The command of Allah Ta’aala that one should proceed to the Masjid when the Adhaan of Jumuah is called out is Waajib, therefore it is not permissible for Muslims to be occupied in any worldly matters that would interfere with the Sa’ee (i.e. proceeding for Jumuah).
However, this ruling does not apply to non-Muslims, thus it will be permissible for them to continue with their deliveries.
