If a tenant fits built in cupboards into a premises that he/she is renting, upon vacation of premises, who does the cupboards belong to? The tenant or landlord?
The cupboard will belong to the tenant. However, whilst removing the built in cupboards the tenant should ensure that the building is not left damaged but restored to its original condition.
