Changing The Intention Of A Salaah

Question

Is it permissible to change the intention of salaah while in salaah or after salaah?S

Answer

Intention is a prerequisite for the validity of ones Salaah. Once a person commences his/her Salaah it is not permissible to change ones intention. Similarly, once a person has completed his/her Salaah it is not permissible to change that intention.
