Is it necessary for the aqeeqah animal to meet with the conditions of qurbani animal?
Answer
Yes, it is necessary for the Aqeeqah animal to meet the conditions that are required to be met in a Qurbaani animal. However, since the Aqeeqah in itself is not Waajib a person will not have to compensate for the deficiency, if he comes to know of it at a later stage.
