Congregational Dua After Janaazah Salaah

Is it correct to make a congregational dua for the deceased after the Janazah Salaah?

The practice of making Duaa in congregation immediately after Salaatul Janaazah has not been proven from the Quraan, Hadith, or any of the books of Fiqh. The books of Fiqh make mention of even the so called little actions that are Mustahab, yet they do not list this act as being an acceptable one. In fact in some of the books of Fiqh the practice of Duaa after Salaatul Janaazah has been prohibited as Salaatul Janaazah is in itself a Duaa for the deceased. In Khulaasataul Fataawa such a practice is categorised as Makrooh.
