Question
At the time of Adhaan, should a person make salaam?
Answer
Fuqahaa have mentioned the times when it is Makrooh for Salaam to be given. Furthermore, they have mentioned that it will not be Waajib upon the recipient to reply to the Salaam given at such a time. Amongst them is that Salaam given at the time of Athaan.
