Question
A person travels to mumbai for treatment. He does not know how many days he will spend there. His intention is that if his treatment is done in a week he will return straight away. If not he will stay longer, does he make qasar?
Answer
Yes, in this case he will perform Qasr Salaah.

( وقصر إن نوى ) الإقامة ( أقل منها ) أي المدة المذكورة وهي نصف الشهر ( أو لم ينو ) شيئا على عزم أن يخرج غدا أو بعد غد. ( ولو بقي سنين ) لأنه لا تعتبر الإقامة بدون عزيمته.
