Can Janaazah Salaah be performed in the Masjid due to space constraints?
Answer
It is Makrooh Tahreemi to move the Janaazah into the Masjid area. What could rather be done is the overflow of the crowd may stand outside of the Masjid at the back, if the Sehen (courtyard) is not large enough to accommodate them. Alternatively, they should perform the Janazah Salaah on an open field outside that can accommodate all the people.
