Question
Is it permissible to perform salaah while zawwaal is approaching… With the result the musalli starts his salaat before zawwaal and continues till after zawwaal…
This particularly happens on Jumuah whilst performing salaatut tasbeeh…
According to one aalim.. He says there is no zawwaal on Jumuah…
Answer
If the time of Zawaal comes in while one is performing Salaah, the Ṣalaah will become nullified. This is irrespective of whether it is the day of Jumu’ah or any other day, as the preferred view is that there is Zawaal on the day of Jumu’ah just like any other day.
