Question
I am aware of the prohibition of drawing pictures of animate objects. Regarding this, it is generally believed that if the eyes of the object is not drawn or is scratched/cut out, then the prohibition no longer remains. Is this correct? Or should the entire head of the object be removed?
Answer
Merely removing the eyes is not sufficient; rather one is required to remove the entire head.
