Saahib-e-Tarteeb (Saahibut Tarteeb)

Question

When will a person be reagarded as a Saahib-e-Tarteeb (Saahibut Tarteeb)?

Answer

A Saahib-e-Tarteeb is one who has five or less Salaah outstanding as Qadha. If six or more Salaah are Qadha upon him, he will not be regarded as a Saahib-e-Tarteeb.

The ruling for a Saahib-e-Tarteeb is that one has to make up his Qadha Salaah first, only thereafter can one perform the Salaah of that time, due to the fact that Tarteeb (to read all his Salaah in order) is necessary upon a Saahib-e-Tarteeb.
