Question
When a Masbooq joins the Jamaat and is rushing straight for Ruku or Sajdah etc. Is it necessary to fold his hands or he must drop them and go the position he wishes to join the jamaat after Takbeer?
Answer
Our Akaabir have had a difference of opinion when it comes to this Mas’ala. Some are of the opinion that one should fold his hands, while others are the opinion that one should not fold his hands. One thus has the option of practising on either of the two views.

امام کے ساتھ رکوع میں ملتے وقت تکبیر تحریمہ کے بعد ہاتھ باندھے یا ویسے ہی رکوع میں چلا جائے؟
تکبیر تحریمہ کہہ کر ہاتھ باندھنا مسنون ہے، اگر ہاتھ نہ باندھے اور ویسے ہی رکوع یا سجدہ میں چلا گیا تو نماز صحیح ہے۔

صحيح طريقہ يہ ہے كہ حالت قيام ميں تكبيره تحريم كہے، پهر فورا دوسري تكبير كہے بغيرركوع میں جاۓ، تكبيره تحريم كي بعد ہاتھ نہ باندهے(احسن الفتاوي ٣/٢٨٨)
