Question

What is the required amount of Rakaats that one needs to perform for the Qada Salaah for Fajr , Zohar , Asr , Magribh Esha, how many Fardh and sunnah?

Answer

For all the missed Salaah, one is required to perform Qadha of all the Fardh Salaahs as well as Witr Salaah (when making Qadha of Isha). In other words, one will be making Qadha of six Salaahs (due to adding on the Witr Salaah) for each day. There is no Qadha for the Sunnat Salaah. However, if a person has missed the Fajr Salaah of the current day and makes Qadha before Zawaal then the two Sunnats of Fajr Salaah should be performed as well. If the Qadha is being performed after Zawaal then the Sunnats will be omitted.
