Adhaan And Iqaamah For A Second Jamaat

Question

have read your fatwa regarding the authorization to multiply jama’at for the Salat of Djummu’ah because of the restrictions. Now, regarding Azan and iqâmat, what is the rule? Is it better to renew the Azan and Iqamat for each Jama’at? Or is it better to give only one Azan and one Iqamat?

Answer

In the queried scenario, the first Adhaan will suffice when the Fardh Salaah is being repeated (in the form of a second Jamaat) at the same Masjid. However, for every Jamaat there should be a separate Iqaamah.
