The Smell Of Najaasah Remaining

Question

What is the ruling of the smell of Najaasah, like sometimes after making Istinjaa then there is a smell remains on the finger or a smell remains on the clothes?

Answer

If the hand is washed properly after making Istinjā with water or any other hand purifying liquid or something that removes impurity and the smell is still there on his hand or clothes, then it will considered to be clean (Paak).  However, one should try to wash hands with soap so the smell does not remain.
